50 ways to leave your employer

a work in progress by Sharon VS and Jess Bauldry

2021 was the year of the Great Resignation, or as we call it the Great Escape.

Join Brits abroad Jess Bauldry and Sharon VS to hear how they dug their escape tunnels out of the workplace and musings on the meaning of work.

There’s also a ukulele.

Good luck!

The Clitoris Act

Or “2 cis 30-somethings and their obnoxious views about the perils of patriarchy”

Women – in an ideal world, we are them, we are birthed by them and we love them. But we don’t live in an ideal world, do we?

Clit Comedy Club creators Anshita Koul and Mari Volar sit, stand and dance around the topics of what it’s like to take up space in the world, live in a country that isn’t yours, why catcalling is annoying but sometimes surprisingly refreshing, what it’s like to be surrounded by baby-making machines and how to properly lodge complaints with the Patriarchy.

All this and more in a special 2-women theatrical comedy show.

Hosted by Eva MC (DE)

Jess Baudry

Jess Bauldry is a British comedian who has been living and working in Luxembourg since 2010.

After years of therapy to recover from the terrible jokes she was exposed to growing up in an English pub, she is now turning her experiences into comedy gold.

In her material Jess explores the meaning of love, work and cake. She also plays the ukulele (badly).

Sharon VS

Sharon VS spent 20 years hiding her comedic talent in a corporate HR career. This is a rich source of comedy inspiration.

But she cannot stress enough that any resemblance in her jokes to real people or events that actually happened is entirely coincidental. It’s not always about you, Steve.

When not on stage you will find Sharon gathering more material by raising a teenager.

Anshita Koul

Anshita is an Indian born standup comedian, currently living in Germany and touring with her solo hour show in English, LITTLE TOO MUCH.

35, Indian, married, queer, doesn’t want a kid and is a comedian by profession; Anshita is a poster child for everything Patriarchy hates and she hates it back more.

Anshita currenly lives in Berlin, but is also the co-creator of Clit Comedy Club in Cologne, Germany.

Festival workshops:

This festival, despite being a short one, brings together an array of engaging, talented and experienced comedians.

It is then only fitting that we also take considerable time in passing down any form of knowledge to other women interested in performing stand up or honing their craft.

Over the weekend we’re offering anyone new or already exposed to stand up comedy a chance to participate in workshops centering joke writing and editing as well as stage presence and performance.
